Performics offers incentive after outage
After a disastrous outage that caused downtime this month, Performics has pro-actively decided to make up for the outage by offering affiliates in the network a 10% bonus on all their earnings for one day – the 15th December 2007 – one week after the outage.
It’s nice to see an ad network offering a make-good for lost revenue. It’s common practice to analyze the time of the outage and credit the theoretical affiliate commissions due for the period to all publishers – at least that’s what we do whenever one of our merchants has any downtime.
Here’s hoping that Performics is giving publishers a better deal by offering them the 10% on the full day.
